Job Description
As a Device Associate at Amazon, you will work on multiple generations of Kindle E-Reader devices and play a crucial role in maintaining their high-quality standards. This role involves hands-on testing, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional QA and product teams.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases, create test data, and report results in a timely and clear manner.
- Understand product functionality and stay aligned with evolving requirements and documentation.
- Identify gaps in test cases and proactively search for issues or bugs beyond defined cases.
- Perform detailed regression and functional testing for new product changes.
- Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and support issue resolution.
A Day in the Life
Your day will include executing regression test cases, raising bugs, and supporting ad-hoc testing requests. You’ll collaborate with QA teams on new feature testing, bug reproduction, and first pass verification — while also contributing innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
About the Team
You’ll join a dynamic and energetic QA team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and flexibility. The team handles multiple parallel releases and contributes directly to the overall quality of Amazon’s E-Reader devices.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Knowledge of QA methodology, testing processes, and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.E, B.Tech, M.Sc (IT), or MCA.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of software testing fundamentals.
