Key Responsibilities

As an SDE I, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and launch innovative products and services.
• Design and develop technologies in a large distributed computing environment, driving fundamental changes in the industry.
• Build solutions to run predictions on distributed systems, leveraging innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Develop distributed storage, indexing, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient, and easy to use.
• Design and code solutions starting from broadly defined problems, taking ownership of the software lifecycle.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality, production-ready software.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous technical internship experience.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Exposure to optimization mathematics, including linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Comfortable handling ambiguous or undefined problems and thinking abstractly.
