Position Overview
Join Swiggy’s Engineering Team as an Associate Software Development Engineer (aSDE) — where innovation meets scale. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to design and implement highly available backend systems that power Swiggy’s delivery ecosystem. Gain hands-on experience with Java, Go, Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code in Java and Go.
- Utilize Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB to build reliable, efficient backend systems.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and clean architecture.
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions for new features and performance improvements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance for high-scale environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech (2024/2025 Batch) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Programming: Proficiency in Java and/or Go.
- Familiarity with backend systems, databases, and data modeling principles.
- Interest in technologies like Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
