About the Role

At Rippling, engineering is the heartbeat of innovation. We are seeking highly motivated recent or upcoming graduates to join our Travel Integrations team as Software Engineer 1.

In this role, you will help build a new platform that redefines corporate travel. This system will handle flight, hotel, and car rental searches, connect with multiple providers, and normalize, filter, and deduplicate offers—delivering fast, reliable, and scalable experiences for users.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of Rippling Travel, a newly launched product designed to revolutionize how companies manage business travel globally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer 1 on the Travel Integrations team, you will:

• Own end-to-end projects — from initial product requirements to launch, impacting all Rippling Travel customers.
• Develop scalable, extensible backend solutions to support new travel product capabilities.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in systems and processes to improve overall performance.
• Maintain high engineering standards and contribute to building a strong, collaborative technical culture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations and product excellence.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Graduating in 2025 or recently graduated).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Go.

• Work Setup: Rippling values in-office collaboration. Employees within a 40-mile radius of a Rippling office are expected to work at least three days a week in-office under the current policy.
