Role Overview
As an Onboarding Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires across the US and Canada regions.
You will coordinate with recruiters, hiring managers, and partner teams to facilitate compliant and timely onboarding processes, ensuring a strong first impression for all new employees joining Clean Harbors.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the recruitment team for new driver and non-driver onboarding in the US and Canada.
- Manage documentation, background checks, and medical formalities.
- Support candidates throughout their first week and ensure all onboarding tasks are completed on time.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to resolve onboarding issues quickly.
- Distribute credentials, manuals, and guidelines to new hires.
- Ensure new hires have access to necessary systems and training materials.
- Address queries from new hires and monitor progress using onboarding tools.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance in onboarding documentation.
Desired Skills & Attributes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Basic understanding of U.S. labor legislation (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Educational Qualifications
- Undergraduate: B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A/B.M.S, or BCA (Any specialization)
- Postgraduate: MBA/PGDM (Any specialization)
